Support for Marchlords
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Marchlords is a medieval turn-based strategy game for Android. You command an army on a
grid map, capture villages for gold, recruit new units and take the enemy castle.
How to play
- Blue moves first, then Red. On your turn each unit may move once, then attack,
capture or wait.
- Tap a unit to select it, tap a blue tile to move, then choose an action. The panel
shows the damage you will deal and take before you confirm an attack.
- Infantry and spearmen capture buildings. Every building you own pays gold each day,
and you recruit new units at your tent.
- You win by capturing the enemy castle or by defeating every enemy unit.
- Fighting fills your commander's meter. When it is full you can unleash the
commander's power once.
- Undo takes back actions until you end your turn (not available under
fog of war).
- Tap the pause button, or press the Android back button, to pause a battle.
The full rules, with every unit and terrain type, are in the game under
How to play.
Map editor
- Open Map editor on the home screen, then tap New map.
- Pick a tool and tap or drag on the board. With Mirror on, every change
is copied to the other side for the other player.
- A map needs a castle for each side, joined by land or a bridge, before it can be played.
- Copy code puts a map code on the clipboard; friends add it with the
paste button on the My maps screen.
Common questions
I don't hear any sound
Open the pause menu during a battle and check the music and sound-effect buttons, and make
sure your device isn't in silent mode.
Can I continue a battle later?
Yes. The battle is saved after every move. Tap Continue on the home
screen. Only the most recent battle is kept, so starting a new one replaces it.
My progress or my maps disappeared
Progress, achievements and maps you build are stored only on your device. Uninstalling
the app or clearing its data deletes them. To keep a map safe, copy its code and save it
somewhere.
Something's broken, or you have feedback
Please include your device model and Android version (for example "Redmi Note 13,
Android 14") and describe what happened. It helps a lot in tracking issues down.
